i wanted to change some setting in my outlook....2003 professional account. i
clicked on help then detect and repair. i checked discard my customized
setting and restore defaults thinking i would get options to choose from. it
totally removed my outlook account! everything was gone. can it be restored?
i tried system restore and it said my system had not been changed..?? any
suggestions on getting it back?

thanks

Were I you, I'd use the Mail applet in Control Panel to configure Outlook to
either prompt for the profile or use the old profile that still contains
your account and data file settings.
