Outlook / Or Active Directory?

Exchange/AD issue I think.?

A user whose name includes Swedish characters is having problems receiving
mail.
Now. we use a recipient policy to replace special caracters, like %räa and
so on so this is not the case, I can see the SMTP address is looking correct
on the user account.
Still, for some reasons when I send mail from his account I cant reply to
the msg, if I just type the address in any SMTP compliant messaging system
it works.
So... somewhere, somehow something is badly formatted when sending mail from
his account using Outlook 2000.

If I send a mail to mysef on another Exchange server and try to reply trough
Outlook it wont work, but if I use OWA it works great.

If I send a mail to myself and fetch the mail with Outlook Express using POP
to get it, and try to reply I get an error saying:
"501 5.5.4. Invalid address".
Now. If I remove him from my adressbook in Outlook Express and just paste
his SMTP address copied directly from his AD account it works fine.

I'm at a loss here. please help!

Regards,
Fredrik
