I have recently downloaded Service Pack 2 and am having difficulty sending
attachments from Outlook to anyone with Outlook Express.

I am sending emails with attachments from my Outlook that can't be opened in
Outlook Express. This has happened since I installed Service pack 2

You are confusing me.... the only thing that changed was the download of
service pack 2

What message format are you using to send the messages? If you switch to
plain text, do the OE users get the attachment?

What format are you using to send the message? Outlook Express can't read
Outlook's Rich Text format.

When I switch to HTML the attachment goes through. However, I loose the
option of sending the email from another address (the down arrow next to the
send key dissappears)

Which version of outlook do you use? See Help, About if unsure. Are you
using Word as your email editor? Did you look on the toolbar to see if the
Accounts button was hidden in the overflow area?
