outlook OVERSTRIKES

ANN M. W.

My Outlook program sometimes suddenly begins to
OVERSTRIKE in the middle of an email without warning or
direction from me. This makes things very difficult to
edit.
The only way I have figured out to fix this is to cut and
paste the message into a Word Doc, and then copy and
paste into a new email.
Anything easier? Ideas?
Thanks, Ann

Possibly you're hitting the insert button by mistake.. Insert key turns
on/off overstrike.

Not a problem in the slightest...

'tis the most annoying button in the world, especially when you're reading
from something as you're typing, if you hit insert rather than delete, you
can type over a whole paragraph before you realize.
