Outlook "Personal Folders"

I have a new PC and have just imported my old PST file. However it is
showing my "Personal Folders" tree twice... with new e-mails going into
both(!). Can I remove one from the view?

Please reply online is this e-mail id is full of spam!

It's possible that your PST file is corrupt. I would recommend:

1. Create a new PST file with a different file name and folder name. (this
will mean you effectively have 3 personal folders in Outlook)
2. Move all the emails out of your old duplicated PST into your brand new
file.
3. Close down the old PST files and remove/disconnect.

That should do the trick.

Most likely won't work. The PST file is fine. It's the profile that's
corrupt.
Importing PST files often corrupts the profile.
Create a new profile and configure it to use the PST file you want. Do NOT
import it.
