I am a long time user of the old Outlook Express 5 and as of recently someone has done something interesting to the version of Outlook I am running. Whenever I try to send a new mail my internet server lights light up like I was downloading something and I get the following error message: C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\K9MRWTYJ\banner[1] has been infected with the Backdoor.Netdex virus - as it is in Windows it is write protected and my antivirus program cannot quarantine or delete it. Somehow whenever I click on new mail I am getting a download or accessing a web page without a web browser running and constantly downloading this virus. What could a remote user have done to my machine to make this happen? All advice accepted gratefully.
Regards,
James.
