I have a problem that I was hoping someone may be able to help with .
I have recently “downgraded†a client from Office SBE 2007 to Office 2003,
as he was having problems with 2007.
Whenever he tries to create a calendar item or Contact, he gets the
following message “the messaging interface has returned an unknown errorâ€.
I googled this, and it came up with the problem being about a recurring
calendar item (which is not the case) and all the resolutions point to that..
Obviously I have done the usual, like uninstalling 2007 before I started,
and also removing the folders for it in Program Files. I did not remove any
rouge registry entries (too many of them).
Anyone seen this happen before ? Any suggestions to clearing the problems. ?
