Outlook Problems

I appear to have three Outlook problems (Outlook 2007, SP2, Vista):

1. The Reading Pane stays open (and the command is grayed-out.
2. Loading email folders often fails after some minutes of normal operation
(I may only need to go back and forth between Sent Items and Inbox to have
this happen) - and the then red-scolling bar appears (and never stops) across
the top.
3. The Outlook.exe process continues after exiting the application in these
cases as well.

Have you tried running Office Diagnostics (from the Help Menu)?

You might also consider starting Outlook in Safe Mode (Hold down CTRL
when you start Outlook) and see if the problems go away - might be the
symptoms of a misbehaving add-in.
