Outlook produces error loig - but where?

Each time I click on send/receive, it starts downloading
the messages but after a few messages, it stops and
produces a message: "Outlook.exe has generated errors and
will closed by Windows. You will need to restart the
program.An error log is being generated."
I can't see a reason for this and don't know where this
log is held. The Help has no log entry.
Does anyone know where to find this log?
Outlook Express on the other hand, has no problem
downloading the messages easily and quickly.

I assume you are running Windows XP?
Then you can check XP's error log by entering eventvwr.msc /s in the
Start>Run box. Then look under either "Application" or "System".
You can try a repair install of Office; that *may* help to solve your
problem.
