[Issue]
The incident had reported weeks later after the incident and the backup for
the user profile (mail) has been over written.
The end user had reported that the last logoff session was done at machine B
and with a failure (system hang). While after that, end user logon to the
machine where normally been use. And found the e-mail is empty! Machine A is
then logoff and attempt to load from Machine B where all mails was seen
during the last logon. Unfortunately, the e-mail is empty too!

Profiles and .PST files are two different things. Since you're using Windows
2000/XP, make sure you search within hidden folders when looking for .PST
files. The user should have at least one profile defined in Control Panel |
Mail | Show Profiles -- if not, create a new one. When you find the .PST
file, attach it to that profile.
