outlook.pst file size?

I have a discrepancy with the size of the outlook.pst file:

Under "View Mailbox Size" under Tools->Mailbox Cleanup, it shows it as
being:

5506KB

And on my hard drive it shows it as being:

13730KB

Why the difference? Does anyone know what's going on?
