Outlook .pst Problem

Have just purchased new PC and loaded Outlook on to it. Took CD of my
old Outlook.pst file and loaded on new system. Unfortunately this has
overwritten the few new emails we had recieved and sent in the new
Outlook.pst file. Is there any way of retrieving the lost file and
merging with the old Outlook.pst file ? There were some important msgs
sent and recieved by my girlfriend yesterday and she is giving me hell
!!! Can anyone help ??

Unless you have a backup of the file, no. If you overwrite ANY file, the
original is gone for ever.
