Outlook PW not Retained

Any one:

My Outlook passwords are not retained. Have attempted
instructions @ "http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?
scid=kb;en-us;264672 OLEXP: Your Outlook Express Password
Is Not Retained in Windows 2000 or XP" to no avail.

Any other suggestions - Problem is with Outlook not
Outlook Express"
