Outlook Question - Trivial

Okay, this may seem trivial. However, take a look at the following
screenshot...

....Is there a way that any of you know to get Outlook to remove those white
boxes around the shortcuts. They look ugly. I'm running Outlook 2002
(10.2627.2625) to connect via VPN to my office.

TIA

Not sure why I'm bothering to reply, since you set follow up to a group not
carried on the server I use to access these groups and as a result, will
probably never see the answer.... I've changed it back to reply to
outlook.general for the benefit of others who might search Google for an
answer.

You mean the shortcuts on the outlook bar? It's a video card issue - it's
probably caused by the lower resolution sent via VPN, in which case the
answer is no. You can check your VPN settings and see if you can raise the
resolution, but it will likely slow things down... in which case, ugly white
boxes is good. :)

Um, I didn't set the follow-up, my NR did. Google does carry
alt.os.linux.suse, though. :)

Thanks for the answer, however, the VPN doesn't set my resolution. It only
creates an SSH tunnel for me to login to my corporate network. (Did you
mean VNC?)

It's just a wierness issue - unfortunately, I cannot load Evolution since
we're only running Exchange 5.5, with no plans to migrate to AD or Exchange
2000. I also can't yet run Office 2003 in Crossover.

Bummer.

Thanks!
