Hi,

i am trying to ignore appointment items if they are in a shared folder
of another user. one mostly reliable method is to check if the parent
folder has no parent, but this does not work for new appointments that
are not yet saved ( they seem to be temporarily stored in a personal
calendar).

Now i wonder what a reliable method for checking if an appointment
item is in a shared calendar is.
From looking with Outlook Spy i haven't found any useful OOM or MAPI
properties yet.
Does anyone have a working method?

Thanks,
Georg

Thank you, too bad.

There's no way to do that as far as I know.

You need to save the item, then delete it if not needed, but you specified
an unsaved item.

Thank you, too bad.
