Outlook reminder window - Unintentional change of selected reminde

When a selected (from multiple) reminder in the Outlook reminders window is
opened (to view more info) and closed, then the selection often automatically
changes to a different reminder. Any action (dismiss or snooze) is of course
then executed on the wrong reminder if this is not detected. This is a very
annoying behaviour. Any solution?

I cannot repro that here. When I select multiple items and then press Open,
the items open and the selections stays. Closing the opened items maintains
its selection. There must be more to your story. Also, it will help telling
us your version of Outlook.

I'm using Outlook 2007 on XP SP3. The problem only seems to occur on email
reminders (flagged by myself). The symptom seems to be that when opening the
selected email in the reminders window, this email is moved higher up (at
least in my case) on the list of reminders, whereas the selection seems to
stay at the same place - thus now pointing to some other reminder. There
seems to be a target order of the email reminders - as the order stabilizes
for that item after the change. I cannot see any pattern in the reminder
order - or as to why this happens.
