Outlook repeatedly delivers all messages on server-how to stop?

R

ratio

I have 2 email/ISP accounts. I access my home and office email @ home. A new
home desktop seemingly is configured to download ALL email left on both
servers, I leave email on servers 5 days to facilitate access from different
locations - home work & travel.

Each time I hit send/receive ALL messages are downloaded leaving significant
repeated messages requiring ongoing housekeeping. This problem is unique to
this version of Outlook having not had this issue previously.

How can I change the settings to restore a SINGLE download regardless of how
many times I send/receive?
