I have a problem with Outlook not running the rules when mail comes i
sometimes. This problem has followed me from outlook 97 to xp.
performed clean installs every time on different computers an
different os's (95, 98, Me ,2000, XP home, XP prof) so it's not a
upgrade or hardware problem. I've also done detect and repair an
clean reinstalls. This leaves me to believe that its either an unfixe
bug or (since it doesn't seem to happen to anybody else i know) a karm
thing.
To rephrase my problem Outlook does not run any rules on emails leavin
a pile of them in my inbox forcing me to goto the rules and run the
manually. I do not have very many rules. I have maybe 10 at the ma
and usually less that 7.
I am looking for 2 answers actually. A way to fix this problem, and
way to run ALL rules easily on the inbox. I prefer to be able to mak
a button or something on the tool bar, but a "select all" equivilant i
the run rules now box would be better than nothing. Possibly
VBscript module in a rule that runs all other rules. Here again I hav
not been able to find very many coding resources for vb in O-XP.
Also, this may be a message that needs to be posted in the codin
section, please move or let me know and I will move it if this is th
case.
Thanks in advanc
