Outlook Rules doesn't work right

On several occasions I have experienced Outlook rules to move mail that
didn't match the rules I have put up. How can that be?

We have no idea since you did not include one shred of information that
would help up help you. "Doesn't work right" does not give one many hints.

What version of Outlook? What is the rule? How is it configured? Where is
it in the order of rules applied? Did you add "stop processing more rules"
to the rules conditions? What type of account? How many accounts do you
check in the one profile?

Outlook XP
I have 5 mail accounts all putting mail in the inbox.

My rule is set to move email with the following in subject line or message
body into a folder called Spam:

"penis enlargement" or "viagra" or "boops" or "tits"

It is the only rule that is moving mail to the Spam folder. Here is an
example of an email that got moved that wasn't supposed to:

Subject:Content violation

Body:
Content violation found in email message.

The file attached to this email was removed

because the file name is not allowed.

From: (e-mail address removed)

To: (e-mail address removed)

File(s): information.doc.exe

Matching filename: *.exe

And why are you unhappy that Outlook removed this virus? Did you notice the
double extension on the attachment?

That is besides the point. The email should not have been moved to that
folder. I just wanted to give you an example of an email that didn't fit the
rule.
I have many other examples of legitimate mail being moved for no reason. I
just posted this one because the other email were of personal nature and I
didn't feel like sharing them with this group.
