This precedent has already been set by Outlook Express. When using IMAP
accounts, Outlook erroneously saves sent items in the local Exchange account
Sent Items folder instead of the remote IMAP Sent Items folder. Obviously
we'd like to save sent items in the Sent Items folder for the applicable
account. As mentioned above Outlook Express already does this, the main
reason I still have to use OE or Thunderbird for my IMAP accounts rather than
Outlook. Otherwise sent items from one account get lost in another. This is a
particularly bad scenario when you separate work (Exchange) and home (IMAP)
email and wish to keep the two separate. Outlook's current behaviour means
sending home IMAP mail will result in it being saved on the work (Exchange)
server.
