The send / receive every 5 minutes and even at outlook exit
If we have the options checked in the customization of
office 2003
If you are working offline but have your modem physically
connected will outlook try and initiate a dial-up to the
network every 5 minutes, or will it just seek out the
network?
If it does attempt a dial-up then this will become a pain
for people that connect via modem, download their mail,
drop the connection, work offline for a period and respond
to the mails offline which could take more than 5 minutes,
then reconnect via modem to send the mails.
If we are connecting through VPN and not directly thru
dialup. Will the same affect.
Pls let me know some more info regarding this option.
I am also testing it but just wanted to have some info
from experts.
