Outlook Send/Receive Against MSN Account Unreliable and Time Consu

I have just set up Outlook as my email program and have an MSN account. The
Send/Receive frequently fails and usually takes over five minutes even if
there is no new mail and all my inbox mail has been either deleted or moved
to a personal folder. Is this normal?

I am using Outlook in Office 2003, the outlook connector going after my http
MSN mailbox. It seems to have settled down a bit now, although the automatic
send/receive fails about once a day now. It does bring all my mail down
though.
