Outlook Send/Receive error 0x8004010f

Hi,
Did a new installation of Office 2003 Pro from an msi package. The install
worked fine on 8 other PCs, but on one PC, every time we hit Send/Recieve,
it generates the above error and does not download any messages. However,
when running the test settings from the Email accounts screen, all tests
complete successfully (there is known good connectivity to the server).

It is a 1GHz clone PC running XP Pro SP-1 w/ all up-to-date patches
(including the Office patches), 512MB and plenty of HD space. It is a
standalone PST that is connecting to just POP3/SMTP (Cobalt Cube) server on
the LAN via an IP address. There are no Exchange servers on the network.

All references in TechNet point to Exchange as the problem, but there are no
Exchange servers here, nor any email accounts pointing to an Exchange
server. The Application log logs the error as 2002 and gives no detail.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
