Outlook sends blank replies

Outlook 2003: when someone e-mails me, they get back a blank reply from me,
whether or not I actually reply. Seems to happen on the first e-mail of the
day or of a string. Then they email back asking what I failed to send or
attach. HELP!

Maybe your Out-of-office reply is active (with a blank message)?

Pat, so it would appear, but in Outlook 2003 I HAVE NO O-O-O Reply mechanism,
I have no Mail in Options. So, it's doing it, but I didn't (couldn't) turn
it on, much as I wish I had that function. Mysterious, what?

In my Outlook 2003 I have Tools -> Out of Office Assistant; did you
check that?

I have the exact same problem as ptomaras... and I, too, do not find "Out of
Office" assistant under my Outlook Tools menu.

Does anyone have an answer for this issue that does not relate to the Out of
Office assistant? Thanks.
