outlook sends emails automatically

Whenever I start my computer (compaq 2800 presario,
laptop), my outlook automatically starts sending some
emails without putting any email in sent folder or outbox
folder. I have done all things including uninstall and
install but nothing stops that automatic sending.

Can anyone help me.

I think you have a bug or 2 in laptop a full system scan
will do maybe. Make sure you have a virus scanner that's
up to date. I hope this will help.

Have you made sure that Outlook isn't configured to Send/Receive
automatically at startup? Go to Tools>Options>Mail Setup>Send/Receive and
make sure "Send/Receive Immediately When Connected" isn't checked. Its
unclear from your post whether Outlook is actually sending something or if
you're just seeing the sending/receiving icon. As long as you don't have
people telling you that you're sending a worm or virus then its likely just
a harmless (and I find handy) method of checking email that Outlook employs.
