Outlook sends using the wrong email account.

Outlook doesn't use my default email account to send. When I use the account
pull-down to specify an account to use for sending, I am told that a specific
account will be used, but the account I specified is not used. When I create
a new email, the default account's signature is used, but the email is sent
using a different account. (I have 3 POP3 accounts.)

If you have Outlook 2003 and have installed SP-1, you're hitting a bug in
the service pack. If this is the case, you can probably correct the
problem by setting your default account to authenticate to its outgoing
server, which can be done on the "Outgoing server" tab for the account.

Yes, you're correct. I did have it set for authentication but I had selected
"Log on to incoming server before sending mail". I needed to change it to
"Use same settings as my incoming mail server.

I should have said Outlook 2003. Looks like Jeff Stephenson [MFST] had the
solution.

Thanks!

BTW, thanks very much!
