When trying to configure additional mail accounts using the MS Outlook
"Tools->E-mail Account..." menu item, Outlook allows only *one* Exchange
Server account to be configured. This poses a problem for business users
who's job function is to monitor several Exchange accounts on a daily basis.
One way to get around this is by using Profiles. However, setting up
profiles is cumbersome to system administrators and using them is awkward for
end-users (as they continuously have to close and re-open separate profiles
to check on different Exchange mail accounts).
Why not allow the addition of more than one Exchange Server account to the
list of accounts managed by Outlook for that user? As far as I can tell,
there is no limit imposed on the number of POP3 or IMAP accounts that can be
added to Outlook, so why is there a limit of *one* for Exchange accounts?
I hope you view this suggestion with careful consideration. It would
greatly enhance the applicability of MS Outlook is today's modern, corporate
workplace.
Many thanks.
