Outlook should allow the viewing of tasks and emails together

My supervisor loves the "Outlook Today" screen, but when he leaves to view
his emails, he then needs to return to view his tasks. He would love to have
the abilty to view both either side by side or one below the other so he can
monitor both at the same time all day. Something similar to the preview pane
where one would be his inbox and the other his tasks. If there is currently a
way to do this, I would love to hear from someone.

You can display two windows at the same time.

Outlook 97, by the way, does display them both in the same window.

Thanks Brian. We run Outlook 2002 & 2003, and by two windows at a time do
you mean where you can say, Open in a new Window? If so, I did find that
option, but he does not want to have to toggle back and forth. If you notice,
when you click on one, the other is hidden. He wants to have both always open
when he selects either his Tasks or Inbox. In short, he wants to watch both
at the same time. I have a screen print that I created to show exactly the
layout he wants. Thanks again, Kim

Yes.

He has no choice.
If you notice, when you click on one, the other is hidden.

So change the sizes and positions of the windows so that they tile instead
of occlude.

And where is that screen shot?
