Outlook should help me track conversation threads like GMail

I tend to organize my e-mail into folders based on the topic of the message.
For example, I have folders for several different mailing lists, folders for
incoming feature requests, existing feature discussion, and so forth.

However, whenever I reply to items, my reply always goes into the single
"Sent Items" folder. It would be really useful if I could tell Outlook to
track replies (threading, essentially) and keep a copy of my replies in the
same folder as the message that was replied to.

That would help make it easier to find things I've written on a particular
topic, without having to hope that someone quoted it in a reply, or searching
the whole Sent Items folder for the message.

Tools -> Options -> Preferences -> Email Options -> Advanced Email Options,
check "In folders other than the Inbox, save replies with original
message".
