Outlook should let me pick a default account to send from for eac.

I think it would be a good idea if I was able to have a default e-mail
account to send from for each contact in my address book. To be more concise,
I mean when I send e-mails to Bob, I want to send it from my hotmail account.
When I send an e-mail to my professor, I want to be able to use the school's
e-mail account.

I think that you can select which mail account to send other than the
default

You sure can. But what I am really trying to get at here is the convenience
of having that option preset, rather than having to set it everytime I make
an e-mail to my professor.

it's on the outlook 12 request list... time will tell if it makes it into
the product. I don't expect to see it added to current versions.

Well at least its up there. It shouldn't be that much of a problem to
implement, but then again, adding one more field for this option may be too
much to handle. :D

I don't know whether this will be in future versions or not (and if I did, I
couldn't tell you anyway...), but three things that enter into such
decisions for "shouldn't be too much of a problem to implement" features
are:

1) Adding a single option *doubles* the amount of testing that must be
done - you now have to test with and without the option. Two features
quadruples the testing, and so forth...
2) Adding a feature complicates the user interface, potentially confuses
users, and can lead to more support calls.
3) We only have so many developers and so many testers, so for each release
we have to pick the features that give the most bang for the buck. Would
you rather have this, or feature X?
