Outlook should take contacts and convert them to Business Contact.

BCM is a crap product -- would expect MS to be issuing fixes daily -- see no
point im paying for such a crap product

Hi Everyone,

I initially started entering my dad's (attorney) old DOS roledex contact
info into Contacts (MS Off Prof 2007). Then, we needed clients categorized
for letters, so I started entering into BCM to use categories and marketing
campaign. Then someone moved/said only Contacts could sinc to his phone. So,
I just finished what I started and entered all of the info. in BCM. Now,
after researching Contacts & BCM and learning about mail merge, I do not know
if I should use Contacts or BCM or both!@#$%^&*()_+?

I would really appreciate some advice. Thank you so much in advance

My dad only needs contact info to use with templates for letters, envelopes,
lables, fax cover sheets, and to sinc to phone. And, he does save emails to
client folders. Is there any reason we need BCM?

Here it is in mid-2009 and seems like nothing is happening with BCM. This
product is is totally useless as a CRM, has slowed down my pc horribly and
since I have older data in Outlook, requires that I maintain two complete
records to get history on contact info.

My only question before I remove it finally, is will the older Outloook
2002/2003 functionality be returned to Outlook Contacts? I.e., will I be able
to link tasks, meetings and journal entries, etc. to a Contact record when
BCM is gon? With BCM installed, the only links go to the BCM record.
