Outlook slow opening

I have a relatively new Dell 8300 pc and everything opens
and operates very quickly except for MS Outlook 2000.
After I first boot up, then open Outlook, it takes
Outlook 60-90 seconds to open. Is there any way to speed
this up?

Have you checked to see if its your antivirus program
that's slowing it down?

The only way for me to check that suggestion is to
disable norton, then I will be unprotected ;- /
