Outlook sound only on the first e-mail message.

Outlook 2003 issue..all settings are correct.

Users are only receiving the notification sound upon opening Outlook and for
only the first message.

It does not sound for any messages thereafter.

???

IIRC there's a min of 5 minutes between the new mail sounds... are
they never hearing the sound again or just not within a few minutes of
opening and testing?
