Outlook Splash Screen

I have noticed that with office XP (outlook 2003) that it
takes awhile for outlook 2003 to come up? It actually
pasues on the outlook 2003 spalcsh screen for quite a long
time. Is there a way to reduce the time or eliminate the
spalsh screen altogether?

Outlook is accessing mailboxes on out Exchange 5.5 server
if that makes a difference.
