Outlook starts slow

Hi, Using XP pro. I recently disabled windows messenger
from starting through local group policies and now, when I
open outlook 2002 it takes a much longer time to start and
I recieve an error in event viwer Event ID 10010. IT
states that the server cannot register with dcom. I did
the same on my wife's computer and now Outlook express is
opening very slow. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Try disabling the integration with Instant Messenger in Tools | Options |
Other and see if that speeds things up.

Yeah, that sped it up.
