outlook stopped deleting email from Yahoo server

Outlook XP no longer deletes my email from the Yahoo server altho it is still
marked to do so. 2 other friends have the same problem since installing the
Office SP (and the XP SP). What's the problem?

I assume that you're using a POP3 account on Yahoo? Could you turn on
diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479) and post
the OPMLog.log file (preferably as an attachment) after you do a download
that doesn't delete the messages?
