outlook stops a goes in background

during the last weeks i experienced a strange issue on my Outlook 2003
SP3, meanwhile i'm reading or writing a message the outlook wind
becomes not higlighted (it become grey) and i can't continue to write
if i don't activate the windows clicking on. This appens every 10-15
seconds.

I tried with other softwares, but no probles was experienced. if i
reboot the pc the problem is fixed for 2-3 hours.

You should check for Add Ins and COMs to see if there are any recently added
that conflict with Outlook's performance.
