Outlook Today display name.

I have noticed these discrepancy's.
Outlook Today - [mailbox - Sturdivant, Bo] (OL2000 sp3)
Outlook Today - [Sturdivant, Bo] (OL2002 sp2)

The second one losses the mailbox text.

This seems like know big deal, except when your last name
begins with q or higher it forces your public and personal
folder to the top above your Outlook today.

Is the mailbox before the name something that some
versions of Outlook drop, and if so is there a workaround?
