Outlook Today Screen-Outlook 2000

I would like to know if it is possible to be able to show the number of
emails that reside in a given folder that appears on the outlook today
screen. I know that my inbox will show the number of unread messages, but
once I read them then the number does not show any longer. I'd like to be
able to select certain folders to show the number of emails in them. Thanks!
