Outlook Today Tasks display problem

Office 2003, Outlook 2003

My Outlook Today recently started displaying in the Tasks column a large
space (as if somone had hit the space bar 30 times) between the check box and
the actual task. The Calendar column is squashed because of this.

I set my Outlook profile up on another computer and the samething happens.
Could there be some bad data in the profile causing this? I have a lot of
items in the Calendar and over 700 items in my Tasks, although most are
completed. Should I delete the completed items for the Tasks and see if that
could make a difference?

Thanks for any help.

Try going to the tasks folder and set the view to active tasks for the next
seven days. Quit and restart Outlook and see if it helps.

I tried that but it didn't work.

I tried this instead. I exported my calendar and tasks to PSTs, then
imported them into a new test email account I created. When I clicked on
Outlook today for the new test account it displayed the same problem. I then
deleted all the tasks and then checked Outlook Today again. The problem was
gone. Must have been something corupted in the tasks. What I will do is
delete all my tasks in my Outlook and just recreate the few tasks I need.
Thanks.
