Outlook Today view: links don't work: Task, Inbox, Appointments, etc

Outlook 2003 - XP Pro

The links that show up in the Outlook Today view make a clicking sound when
I click them but the view doesn't change...

- I click one of the Task... get 'click noise' but the task doesn't become
visable
- I click one of the appointments under Calendar... ditto it doesn't become
visable
- I click Inbox under Messages... ditto... but it doesn't bccome visible

1 - What is going on here? How can I fix it?
2 - How can I get back to the default 'out of the box' view? (two column
view I think with Calendar on left and on the right messages were listed
under task... now Messages are on top of Task in the right column.)

I don't know how to address this.

Visit the Outlook Today page in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Today

The key CustomUrl can be changed to "outlook.htm" and the key Style to
"Style0" to restore the default look. However, you're describing the
"Standard (two column)" style, which is a CustomUrl of "outlook1.htm" and a
Style of "Style1".
