Hello,
I am using Outlook2000 on a XP pro machine. Outlook is configured to connect
to Microsoft Exchange Server inside our comany network. My problem is now
that when ever I start Outlook it does not connect to this server anymore,
instead it tries to connect to an external server outside our Company
network. Always it will connect to “server12.web-mania.com†[193.22.244.29]
on epmap port 135. My machine send three TCP frames to this server (which is
an apache web server) without reciving any responce. After this the logon
window appears but logging to the Exchange server always failes.
I have downloaded the latest secirity updates for both Windows XP and
Outlook2000. Removed all spy-ware and adverts with Spybot and Adware and
scaned the system for Viruses, finally I reinstalled Outlook but that all
with no result! ;-(
Does some boady know what may cause the problem or where I have to look at?
Best regards,
Thomas
