outlook unable to open existing .pst

o.k., had some problems with W2K and reloaded everything
on our computer...but when i go to reload .pst file
outlook says "properties for this info service must be
defined prior to use" and "outlook.pst" is not a .pst
file. they were copied back into the computer via files
backed up on cd-rw.

Make sure that on the properties of the pst file (in
Explorer not in Outlook) the "read only" option is not
selected.
