Outlook User maliciously deleted public messages.

So, one of the people in my office has been deleting vital e-mail messages.
For some reason, the IT department doesn't know who it was. Anyone here have
any experience in this?

Outlook doesn't log that information. Ask in an Exchange newsgroup to see if
Exchange does.
