Outlook username and password workgroup

Richard C

I have two domains,
The exchange server is in domain A. My users are on domain
B.
Seperate username and password for the users on Domain B
to connect to the Exchange on Domain A. This can not be
changed.

I remember that MS had a Reg fix were i could have the
prompt fill in automaticaly.

I am looking for the reg entry for this or if anyone knows
any other way to accomplish this.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Can't you select the option to store the password instead? Or even better;
create a trust between the domains.

Hi,

the only way i can think for outlook to automatically fill
in the prompt is to create 2 profiles.. go to show
profiles in outlook and with the same username domain name
in both and keep logging in from onne to the other.. then
outlook will remember to keep the username and password
for one of the profiles in the dialog box.. then just
remove the second dummy profile.. hope this helps
