Outlook using all the bandwidth

S

Scious

I am using windows xp and office xp with all the updates. I also have nav
2002 and zone alarm pro with a 512k adsl connection.

When I send a large attachment using outlook (over 1mb) I notice that it
uses the vast majority of the bandwidth and throttles any other programs
that are currently using any bandwidth.

Is there any way to set a % of the bandwidth that outlook or any specific
program can use?

Thanks Mark

No, there's no way to control the bandwidth that Outlook uses inside Outlook
itself. There may be some sort of share/freeware programs that do it but I'm
not aware of them at the present time
