I'm building an automated process to check Outlook versions across multiple
systems during an IS audit. When checking the version of the Outlook.exe
file, I get the dotted version number. Does MS or any site maintain a
reference table where dotted version numbers are matched up with the
"common" name (Outlook 2000 SP1, etc)? Is there a reference chart for other
MS applications as well?
