Outlook very slow to open messages with attachments

Hi

All of a sudden my Outlook 2000 on XP is taking ages to
open messages that have an attachment. We use an Exchange
server and have tried logging on from another PC and
everything is OK. I have a virus checker installed but it
hasnt changed for a long time.

The attachments are not so big, they appear instantly on
the other PC I have tried

Any ideas would be great
