Outlook Web Access Deleted Items

I have a user where once an email is read and deleted it deletes completely
and bypasses the deleted items box. When deleting an unread email it stays
in the deleted items box. I have checked for rules and there aren't any set
up and also for any option that would automatically do this but can't see
anything either. Any suggestions

Outlook Web Access is part of Exchange. Ask your question in
microsoft.public.exchange.clients
