Outlook Web Access putting a ? at the top of an email

Outlook Web Access is putting a ? at the top of an email
after it is sent. The sender never sees it but the
recipient does. Anyone have an ide of how to stop this?

Ask in an Exchange group as OWA is actually a component of Exchange, not
Outlook.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Harvey asked:
